The Toronto Aces & Aros Collective as a whole is responsible for organising regular monthly discussion and social meetups.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinating suggestions from the group for discussion topics and social activities
  • Finding facilitators for discussion meet-ups and hosts for social events
  • Setting up doodle / scheduling polls (if relevant)
  • Booking (accessible) space for events (if relevant) and communicating accessibility info
  • Announcing events on all platforms (googlegroup, tumblr, AVEN meetup thread, facebook)
  • Ensuring people abide by the Respect Guidelines and addressing any issues that may arise.

Regular meetups are organised through the Toronto Aces & Aros googlegroup, and/or Discord Server. They are announced in these spaces and also listed publicly on both the Toronto Aces & Aros tumblr and the Toronto Aces & Aros’ public facebook page.
